Clinical Trials for Nasal Polyps

Nasal polyps are soft, painless, noncancerous growths on the lining of your nasal passages or sinuses. They hang down like teardrops or grapes. They result from chronic inflammation and are associated with asthma, recurring infection, allergies, drug sensitivity or certain immune disorders.

What are the Symptoms?

These are a few of the most common symptoms of nasal polyps:

  • a runny nose
  • persistent stuffiness
  • loss of sense of taste
  • stuffiness
  • post-nasal drip
  • frequent nosebleeds

In some cases, there may be no symptoms. The condition can be treated with corticosteroids, other medications, or surgery.

People may experience:

Facial pain or headache, pain in your upper teeth, nasal congestion, distorted sense of smell, runny nose, post-nasal drip, or sneezing, breathing through the mouth or sinusitis. Also common to have headache and snores.

About the Study

Our Research Centers are currently enrolling subjects with Nasal polyps into research studies. All study related visits, laboratory work, study medication, and all study related procedures including physical exams are provided at no cost to those who qualify for study. Qualified participants will receive compensation for time and travel.
